WD have had 1TB and 750GB 12.5mm drives out for a long, long time.

I need 7200rpm ones!

Why make a laptop drive that is too big for the majority (all?) laptops? For me anyway it's like saying 'look we made a hard drive that's the same width as your current one, unfortunately it's too tall for your computer'

Quite a few laptops can take them it's just not well known.

5400rpm and 8mb cache... would have expected more from a flagship capacity drive tbh.
