Yeah, stay with what you have where you can, so you can use the Crucial Exectutive software to carry out firmware upgrades. I've used it in the past and it's good.

I'm in the same boat and was actually looking at the MX500 as well heard good things!

Need something else along side my 1tb WD Blue SN550 NVME rapidly running out of space.
