1TB SSD for gaming and windows?

Must have changed since I used it yesterday after installing my new Sabrent drives then!

Though admittedly I already have most of my games on my external hdd's so I don't have to wait 2 weeks downloading them again.

I don't think steam installs like traditional games did, where you would install everything from a disk or disk image - writing the whole lot fresh to disc. Steam seems (I can find little info on it however) to download directly to the install location (it pre-allocates the space) and does some installing at the end. I don't think it downloads an install image and go on to write a full install after downloading.
