I'd swap out for a peerless assassin as suggested above, but I assume you want the AIO for looks.

If it was my system, I'd also be fitting 64GB, or at least 48GB, but it is also true that you don't need it apart from some modded games like Skylines.
See, the issue is that with this case, it has 10 fan slots, I guess I could just not fit them all, but if you were to by the time you add the PA and 3 fans it works out the same as the AIO.

Can the ran not wait and be added in a year or twos time?

If you have to stick to a "gaming" headset, maybe you can find the budget for an Audeze Maxwell?

As someone whose other hobby is audio equipment, it hurts me to see people pay good money for what I can only imagine is trash tier sound
I like the all in one as it says having a mic sitting about, any ideas on mic and headset that's not over £300 that does have good sound? I love music and like the idea of hovering with the music on.

Possibly, things have somewhat improved since launch and 16GB sticks are definitely easier to run than 32GB sticks, but there's been a fair few experiences that DDR5 doesn't like running 4 sticks and AMD only rate the memory controller to 3600, so that's a pretty low bar of expectation there.

@Ray Butts , just remember everyone has slightly different priorities for their ideal pc
Me personally, I'd stick with 32gb ram(i don't use anywhere close to it with games i play), I wouldn't bother with aio (got one on my 5800x AM4 build I did as that cpu ran hot), but using a£30 arctic cooler on my 7800x3d as i type. It runs col and silent
I'm using a razor tournament se headset for gaming, which I bought for £50, half price during black fri sales..works fantastically..sound is more than good enough for gaming, and mic works well/retractable with no static or transmitting of wind sound while breathing(one of my son's friends headset is bad for that), so i wouldn't be paying £170 for a headset
I'd even consider ditching the 7800x3d and going with a 7600x as playing at 4k, and saving £240...I mean, yes, I paid £440 for mine, but that was preorder and got it on launch day...that was 1 1/2, 2years ago or whenever it actually launched..I wouldn't pay that now, esp with 9800x3d launching around the corner
I'd be making those savings and maybe switching out the 28" 4k ips screen for an oled screen (pref would actually be 42" lg c4, as 144hz, just like the 4k screen you've got at mo)..istant respose time of oled and pure blacks wins every time for me...can't go back to tiny screens anymore either....if too big, thing theres a 32" 4k oled now around £750 which is a monitor
I'd also consider a mobo with pcie5 gpu slot also..5000 series cards are going to be pcie5 from whgat I've read. Seeing as you're going higher end current card, if you upgrade to 6000/7000 series card down the line, I'd want it in a pcie5 slot...even a 1% loss of performance would annoy me if I'm dropping a lot of money on a new gpu
Maybe also the phanteks amp gh 1000W 80plus plat psu for £129 also...you generally get sales where the £170 one drop to £130/£140 anyway...I'm guessing 1000w psu for futureproffing for later gpu upgrade, as the 4080s uses less power than my 3080 i think, so 850w psu more than enough if you don't plan upgradinging

so what I'm saying is there is no right and wrong. There's nothing wrong with your build...tbh, there was nothing wrong with the nv5 case either..it's actually better quality case than the c5, but you're just paying more for it. If you go with everyone recommendations you'll end up with something that differs from what's in your mind by a long way...at the end of the day, guessing with rgb, it'll be sitting on your desk and you'll be looking at it every day, so make sure your happy with it
