No idea where to post this but has anyone taken part or planning to take part in this?

Put simply, it looks AWESOME.

Me a few friends have bought tickets already for one of the Bristol sessions. Will probably be about 8-12 of us but me, my girlfriend and two closest friends will be dressing up as the L4D crew :p

Oh and I've also applied to be a zombie on another night with a few friends as well

£24 .. for what, exactly? The right to play a giant game of tag?

Rip. Off. It should be free as it's nothing more than a flash mob.

Party venue? DJ? Make-up? Costumes? Game venues? Advertising? Admin costs?

Would like to see you organise it for less. And how is £24 too expensive for an awesome night out anyway?!

i planned the beer deliveries for the Leeds event :D

Does look pretty fun, but all in all it is just a big game of tag...there were some others where you had "guns" and was a bit more apocolyptical

You and your mates can come and play tag in my garden if you like, I'll stick one of my old mix CDs on a stereo for you, wear a wig and smear Ketchup over my face as well.

I'll do it for a tenner each. Can't say fairer than that.

The party will pay for itself in drinks alone. The rest is a glorified game of tag. I'll concede I jumped the gun and didn't realise the after party was included, but a better party can be had for less than half of that.

EDIT: Lol, the "makeup" consists of a few bottles of fake blood. Great value for money, right there.

Get to point B from point A whilst dodging mindless zombies sounds like a regular shopping excursion to me...

Love how they charge £24 but rely on unpaid volunteers.

Failing to get excited about this - if the city was closed off with thousands of zombies, where you could leap over cars, break into buildings with impunity and generally act like the world had ended then it would work. Having a handful of people dressed as zombies deliberately ambush you near a pre-determined choke point near the 'checkpoints' you need to reach is not the zombie apocalypse. Oh, and of course there's the fact that the 'Zombies' will be fully thinking, sentient packs of humans - again, not the same thing. Can imagine it's dead fun waiting for the green man at the pelican crossing so that you can escape your zombies without being run over.
Game of tag with fancy dress and role play.

*I put on my wizard robe and hat

Would be AMAZING if we could use one of those Chinese ghost villages!

I am doing something similar to this next Friday except it's in an abandoned shopping centre in Oxford, and the "survivors" have BB guns, grenades etc and there is special effects used.

Will hunt a link out later but it looks awesome, my girlfriend got it for me for my birthday.

From the FAQ...

Q. Do we fight Back?
A. No. This is a game of tag, a pretty awesome game of tag.
