The DX needs the power cable, but the D1 (which is basically the same card), doesn't need one, unfortunately it isn't in stock with ocuk.

update :

Managed to get the funds together! yay, build hasnt changed much although ive gotta order £250 worth on my student credit card teehee. HAF 932 and be quiet 850w comming on tuesday. Just waiting for the funds to clear from paypal so i can order the rest!
