2 Loops ???

Guys,

I have just added 2 hd4890's to my overclocked cpu and the temps have obviously gone up and are both idle at about 45c which is not ideal as I too want to overclock the cards.

I have a cosmos S case and a triple rad on the top (inside) and the pump and res below the hard drivers. Has anyone managed to get 2 loops inside this case and if so how and what you used?

I would rather keep everything in the case so external rads not really something I want.

Thanks for you help.

Also I have jusy added the AeroCool Easy Watch display and have added an inline sensor at the out barb on the cpu and the out barb on the 2nd gfx card but the readings are about 10-15c less than what gpuz and core temp states. Is there a way to get acurate readings to my display rather than depend on software ?

I really apreciate advice as I am at a stand still now :(

Guys I need serious help with this :(

my temps are silly so I think I need a 2nd loop and I know the cosmos s case has loads of room but for some reason i dont know where to begin to add a 2nd loop?

Where will it all fit??

I have 2 writers, 3 hard drives no I remember someone putting a double rad in the front in the bays but for the life of me dont know how they did it also where can i put another pump ?

So someone out there must have a cosmos s case and in the past installed a 2nd loop.

As Suggestions and guidance would be most welcome :)

Any more suggestions guys as I am holding back for advice before I spend on the parts as I dont want to waste my money to only find I cant put it anywhere?

I have also decided on getting the alphacool LCD for temp monitoring rather than the silly inline sensors I bought :(

So guy ideas please asI can fry egg and bacon on my cosmos s case top :(

no its not about temps have sorted that :) I just dont know how to fit 2 loops in my cosmos case as after the psu i have all cables from hard drivers etc and have tried to route them round the back etc but no matter how i attempt it i just get nowhere? I was trying to add another rad and pump etc so i can have a loop for my cpu and one for my 2 hd4890's

I am assuming i could get away with a double rad for the gfx cards and stick with my triple for the cpu as thats overclocked.

So this is my problem i dont know what to buy as i dont know where to fit it and i want it inside the case not a bolt on the rear of the case as i dont have the room anyway under my desk for that so want it all inside

Ok here is some pics (should have done this to start with)

This is the side view of the case

Congested area with sata/power cables. Here I would like to fit a 2nd pump/res the same as already in pic, so 2 in total side by side ?

Triple Rad on the top of case that I was originally using for my overclocked cpu alone 3.71ghz (q6600 2.4ghz). Now all in the one loop :(

This is the front view of the case, I have 3 hard drives and did have 2 dvd writers but removed 1 to gain extra space. The top 2 slots I am going to install the Alphacool LCD Display to monitor temps etc.

This is the top view of the case showing the 3 fans on top of my triple radiator.

Hope these pics help and desperatly waiting for some guidance :)

Here is my idle temps before it shuts off :(

The top of the case where the fans are blowing air out from the rad is boiling ??

And my rad I dont know if its any good as i go it with a ki i bought when i first started watercooling and cost £100 for the lot so could it be jus not up to standard and need a decent triple rad with decent fans??

Anyone out there think a single loop is not enough for a o/c quad 600 SLACR to 3.71 and 2x hd4890 not clocked?

cant be the cpu mount as i aint touched it and since i added the 2 hd4890's thats when the trouble and heat started

sorry also i dont know how to resize pics on here ?

i have got my pc stripped again how do i put the hard drives in backwards when i have a large fan attached to the front of the hdd box ? as i dont think this fan is suppose to come off ?

could i get away with putting the drives back in the same way but like you said feed the sata lead under each drive so that they all come out the bottom of box ? then i can instal the box as normal ?

also what about fitting a 2nd double rad verticall in the front drive bays and attach it to the box to hold it in place?

no cant do my idea cables not long enough

could i do the following:-

Pump/red -> Triple rad -> Cpu -> Double Rad -> Gfx card 1 -> gfx card 2 -> Pump/Rad.

or

Pump/Rad -> Double Rad -> cpu -> Triple Rad -> Gfx card 1 -> Gfx card 2 -> Pump/Rad.

Would my pump be able to cope?? its a DCC 18w with xspc res top ?

well if i can get away with not having to have another pump then i dont have to worry too much about cable management as it was for the sole reason to try and make room for a 2nd pump/res

As for my fans well i dont think there anything special i think they just plain exhast fans you get on a case ?
