2 x 290 Tri-X OC Lack Performance!

Yeah i don't use RP much these days.

Supersampling does not work via CCC under Mantle, but in BF4 you don't need it as you can just use resolution scaling which is basically the same thing.

Triple buffering is enabled by default it seems, even with vsync off.

Oh ok thanks Matt.

So Triple buffering should be disable when having Vsync off, hence you added RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0?

Also i do i get details showing in the top left hand corner i have seen on you're screen shots of how much % the cards and cpu are using.. i can't remember how this is done..

Thanks Matt.

P.s how's you 3rd card going ;) you added any scaling :D

I found it odd that it was auto enabled in BF4 when not using vsync, especially given other games don't have it enabled unless you use vsync. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but i do know it adds input lag so i disable it just to be safe.

As for the rendering overlays, see this thread here. Remember that will only work on DX11/19/9 and OpenGL games. Mantle support will arrive at some point.

Third card is going well, really enjoying it so far. To be honest i didn't really need it but I've been wanting to try TriFire for ages and I'm glad i did.

It shouldn't add any input lag, it wasn't designed to do that. with Vsync off also it will not play any part. TB is there for when you enable vsync. with Vsync off TB is redundant.

It adds lag with vsync enabled for sure. Anything that stores another frame in the buffer will add lag. As for vsync off, i still don't like the idea of the game enabling it so i just disable it myself. It may not make any difference, but it allows me to sleep easier at night. :D

Yeah triple buffering introduces more input lag on top of vsync. Fine for some games as it makes no difference but you don't want that on a shooter.

Nor do you really want vsync on or you don't want 60 Hz but that's a different debate. :D

Agree, but I'm so pro i use Vsync, triple buffering and a fps cap in BF4. Gotta keep the challenge fresh.

But if you guys read about why TB was made it points to everything you not saying? The reason for TB was to help reduce the input lag from Vsync see link I posted above.
