Microsoft has announced it will offer upgrades for its new operating system Windows 8 for just under $40.
This has been discussed before, you are a little bit late.
So it has been discussed before, does that mean it can't be discussed again ever by anyone?
Why bother posting something so negative and unhelpful.
Nothing a matter with discussing it again but what else can be said about an upgrade costing £20.00. There isn't much to say except uhm it's £20.00.
For £20 I will keep my windows 7 installation and dual boot with windows 8 to try it out.
Seriously hope that correct as no way will I pay full price for windows 8 when I use my iPad more than my desktop system now.
At £20 how can anyone resist. There are quite a few speed advantages as well as some useful tools - even ignoring Metro, which I shall do!
Upgrade your current Windows 7 install to Windows 8. Then use your existing Windows 7 disc to dual boot that? You can't dual boot the £20 upgrade to windows 8. As I believe, it will upgrade your current win 7, from its online upgrade files.
