My mum has asked me to look.

Her main requirement is 'good camera'

Currently looking at the Xperia XA1, any other suggestions? Would rather not go Chinese grey market.

Wouldn't go Sony - their cameras e aren't great at flagship level.

Try the Moto G5 Plus (or G5 S Plus).

Nice quick autofocus (similar tech to the S7) and a decent camera.

I have an XA1, and the camera seems to be quite good after playing with a couple of settings and getting used to it! Plus having a camera button is a definite plus. It can be a little slow to focus though.

As for the phone itself, great performance, and battery life much better than I was expecting (e.g. took mine off charge this morning at 7, its had light to moderate use since then and its just dipped under 80%). However, my signal strength is terrible, which i think is down to the phone, as EE signal with my other handset (and older Moto) is much better in the same locations. Looking at some of the comments online, i'm not the only one to have this problem either!

Huawei P10 lite
I've got a P9 and my wife has a P9 Lite.

There's quite a gap in quality between their Leica branded dual lens camera system, and their non branded single lens cameras. Seeing as you can get a P9 for the same price as a P10 Lite, I'd go P9 every day.

Nokia 6? Nice build and near stock Android. And the new owners are on the ball when it comes to updates as well.

so for max £200 budget.. Which would you recommend Motorola G5 plus or Huawei P10 lite?
