I heard lost odyssey is not too hot.

The more sources the better, but it's best to avoid XBox only magazines etc.

Nope probably not I'd say Bioshock but I was trying to throw in some games different from the most predictable ones

In saying that NG: Sigma got 9.1 etc so if Heavenly Sword turns out better which the demo certainly is then it may end up with a decent score from IGN?

Also I'd like to add Rachet & Clank, although again I can't see anything topping Bioshock this year.

Maybe we should have a first, 2nd & 3rd place, otherwise it looks like to much of a formality atm, and kind of makes this thread pretty pointless?

Bioshock - Seems to be one of the few games thats not been massively overhyped but has lived up to it's promise!

I thought the mechanics of Ninja Gaiden felt better tbh.

At the moment i will say BioShock, because of all the recent hype which has been a slow burner.

I think, however, if it makes it in time, Rock Band really could put a big spanner in the works. It is probably my 2nd most anticipated game of this year.

Tough battle between them, but I think MGS4 will snag it. Very very likely.

Both due for 2008 release though.

I reckon Halo 3 will win it, for no particular reason.

I think Mass Effect will be GOTY tbh, its the only major western rpg out and it should be an awesome game.

If so isn't Crysis out this year anymore? I think that could give Bioshock a run for it's money..

Yeah but it wont touch Bioshock, it looks amazing but i dont think the gameplay is going to stand up to the graphics. To be honest i actually think Far Cry 2 is looking a lot better.
