2008 F1 Predictions

I might stop watching, some stupid rules coming in the near future.
Which do you consider to be stupid?

Personally I think they're fixing the damage they did from 98-2003 by (hopefully) bringing back slicks, and removing TC. Admittedly a standard ECU isn't the most ideal way of achieving the latter, but it is the most effective and easiest to police.

The engine freeze, although it does stunt creativity, it will in the long run cut costs. Although I would prefer a 5 year or less freeze, as opposed to the 8/10 year one.

And the energy recovery systems will make the sport viable for manufacturers still, as it's technology which can be developed for the road. Plus it'll keep the tree huggers off their backs for killing the planet with stupidly loud cars that do 4MPG :)
 
How about that halt on engine development for a start.

It mean development costs now are at their most, and whomever starts the freeze with the best engine will dominate the 5 year gap.
