Channel 4, actually. Best cricket coverage in my time back then. How things have changed... on Sky.

Listening to it on 5 live but its just not the same!
National sporting events like the Ashes shouldn't be allowed to be only shown on a paid tv service.
Couldn't agree with you more. Much like England football qualifiers being shown on a now bankrupt service.

At least Sky will show all the play for the whole ashes. If it was on a terrestrial channel they may not. Also it's in HD on Sky so thats also a good thing. I'm annoyed that the BBC are not showing this years Open Championship in HD.
Channel 4's coverage of the Ashes four years ago was award winning. I would say that a ball wasn't missed either.
I grant you the HD comment but, quite frankly, I don't want to pay well over £30 a month for that!

That is for sky customers only i think. Still you can watch the match for £1 if i read the print correctly.
