2009 Ashes Series - England vs. Australia **Spoilers**

Spawn's not pro-ozzie, he's anti-English and will support anyone playing against them, except India;)

I think 337-7 isn't a bad days work, could've done with losing 2 less wickets I guess but as KP and Strauss said they'd have taken that at the start of the day considering how badly we've started against them before and that wicket doesn't look like it's going to get any easier to score on.
Bopara looked really nervous, he's very talented but I'm not sure how mentally hard he is.
There was some genuine swing and turn at times too, our bowlers will be delighted to see that:)

And dont forget SA;):p...dislike them as much as i dislike India...and i wouldnt say im anti english, i just dont like the way england is hyped up to the extent that the media and the population gets themselves into a right frenzy lol...i know it bothers you seeing as you always seem to bring it up...

Anyways 371-8...not bad for a first innings total tbh...altho i think if they get past 400 then the Aussies will be under pressure...im quite pleased with the Aussies bowling so far..a lot of people were writing them off as they dont have a spinner who can win games ie Warne...Hauritz is ok but hes no Warne thats for sure. I reckon it will be tight depending on how the Aussies bat...they havent been too dominating in the recent warm up games, Hussey got a big score in the last warm up game but Pontings been struggling with the bat.
Still i expect the English bowlers to give them all sorts of problems ie Flintoff, Panesar, Anderson and Broad....will be a tight finish i think.

It's fantastic, a number of times now I've been at a mates house without Sky when there's been some footie on or something, pop open the laptop, connect it up to the TV and it's basically mobile Sky Sports - brilliant :D Quality is pretty good too!

*edit*

Haha! The Hawkeye on the lbw shout is sponsored by SpecSavers :D

Is it good quality and doesn't buffer a lot? I'd happiily pay for the pay per view. All I ever watch is cricket so can't justify paying for full sky subscription.

Yeah quality is good, don't have a problem with it buffering :) Basically it's pretty much BBC iPlayer, just with Sky Sports etc :)

Hauritz just gone for 16 despite turning it a ton, lovely reverse-sweep from Swann :D

Haha i saw that yesterday when they shouted for an LBW which even i could see wasnt anywhere close to being an LBW lol:p.

400 up...wow Aussies not able to kill off the tail...this will cost them the game i think if they dont bowl the tail out quick.

He's batting like it's twenty20! With Anderson holding up the other end it works very well.

400 up now so anything now is a bonus.
It's a good point, reckon the popularity of 20/20 has definitely made a few bowlers sit up and focus more on their batting, looking more comfortable run-scoring, more comfortable playing the less orthodox and more inventive strokes.

There's definitely a few skills which are coming out in 20/20 which are very much applicable in Test matches - consistent, economical yorker bowling and then still scoring runs when faced with that, for example.

Pitch is turning ridiculously already :p Warney must be gutted, he retired a series too early, thank Christ we aren't up against him on this pitch!
