Maybe, but you notice how the Aussie are playing test cricket? That's how you win games. A moderate but relentless trickle of runs. No rush. No half-hearted prods at balls better left. It still amazes me why England play test cricket almost like an ODI, and always pay the price.
 
The trouble with Swann's bowling is, it's either big turn, or no turn.

He does not have the subtle variations needed to make him a world beater.

When he turns it, the batsmen get nowhere near edging it because he is turning it too much.
If he can extract more bounce out of this pitch, then he will get wickets.
