2012

Daily Mail review was glowing, everywhere else....not so much. Might go to the cinema tonight, either this, An Education or the goat staring one.

Will watch this :) I like Roland Emerich, if you've ever watched some of his films with the directors comments you can tell he doesn't take himself all that seriously, in The Day After Tomorrow, in the commentary he was always laughing and pointing out the glaring plot holes and inconsistancies :) that is what made me like him and his films. They're sit back, switch off and go ooooohh at the effects :D

I saw it yesterday and gave it 6/10 on IMDB. It's not too bad but I do have some major criticisms of it but I won't go into them as it'd involve spoilers.

Here's my Review in a Nutshell™

2012. It's enjoyable ****, but **** nonetheless.

I think I migth go and see it, I'm a sucker for an end of days type scenario, but I have to say, every opinion I've been given has been negative.

Went to see this last night and it was brilliant, although it's around 3 hours long I didn't really notice it dragging on like most films that length tend to do

Massively impressive special effects

Just noticed the date's on the first post in this thread lol

Have we been waiting this long on this movie?

We're off to see the at the end of the month, my other half's studying hard at the moment over her birthday so we're making it a meal / cinema night out at the end of the month to see this movie. Both looking forward to it :)
