Good point, what I will do is print some maps of, of the route and stick them on my screen. Will have an OCUK logo clearly marked. My bike is a 62 plate triple black GSA.

Where are you then metbandit? I'd be going north then south if I did that. For that matter, where's PU7E located?

I was planning to go down to Oxford through Shipston on Stour, it's a nice run.

That is indeed a fair point!

Not sure if PU7E is north of me or not. We shall see once he replies. We can always meet at the pub around booking in time?

Think I'm just a little more south and more easterly, Leicester is about an hour off route. I'd most likely suggest the Newport Pagnell services on the M1 just before Milton Keynes coming from the north as a good meeting point and it around half way.

Today I spent £430 on a service. Yesterday was £270 on a new belt. Tomorrow, I fit new suspension dampers.

This is looking like the most expensive day out ever.

Is the plan to still meet in Oxford? anyone else travelling up from down south?
Its easier for me to just meet at Loomies but will probably come up to the Oxford meeting point though

oh no's, I've found a screw in my rear tyre. Will have to get it looked at tomorrow as I'm not sure how deep it's gone and it's near the centre.

currently my rear wheel is at the garage waiting for a puncture to be repaired and my rear sets are having a colour change so depending on how things go its 50/50 if i'll make it or not.
