Rubbish game yesterday. For some reason, our last three games this season we've completely gone to pot. We've stopped playing football and have insisted on hoofing it up the pitch. Not ideal when then average height of opposition centre backs is about 6'4".
Swindon coped very easily with our style of play yesterday, however that said it was incredibly windy out there which lead to tricky conditions. Not re-watched the match yet, but we didn't really deserve the penalty at the end. Thought the only players to come out of the game yesterday with any credit were Simon Moore and Shay Logan.
On the plus side, we should have 5 or 6 relatively fresh players for the the game tomorrow, and (I think Uwe said this last night) the second leg could be won based on the recovery of the players today. Hopefully tomorrow we should play an attacking team, take the game to Swinedon, keep the ball on the ground and make the most of the good pitch... but we won't! We'll panic and get nervous
