**2014/15 Predictions thread**

If Liverpool can nearly win the league with cast offs and average players, the mighty man u can surely win it with the worlds greatest manager and world class talent like Rooney.

I think Chelsea is all dependant on if Costa doesn't get injured. He will be their main man this season with Cesc providing.

Cesc is the best signing this season I think. He was used to the premier league and his debut back was immense!! God knows why Arsenal didn't try and get him back first?

Not as bad as United who saved £3 million and bought Felliani instead!

1st. Chelsea
It'll be tight between them and City, but I think ultimately Chelsea will edge it. Jose has got has squad more or less how he wants it, and his teams are very solid. I think the only thing that would stop this is a serious injury to Costa, I can see them 'getting by' to second then.

2nd. Manchester City
They'll be on Chelsea's tail all season, it's only the Mourinho factor that's swaying me towards Chelsea. I think they have a squad that's on a par with Chelsea.

3rd. Manchester United
With a fully fit squad and a backline that can get some games together, I think going forwards we can easily rival City and Chelsea, and are some distance ahead of the teams listed below. This isn't enough to lift us towards the title, it also depends on how well Rojo, Blind and to a lesser-extent Herrera (slightly more known quantity) adapt and slot into the side.

4th. Liverpool
It pains me to put Liverpool here, but I think that their striking options of Ballotelli and Sturridge put them ahead of Arsenal. They aren't as good in the middle of the park, but unless Ramsey scores 20+ again then I think Arsenal are going to be grinding some games out and hoping for goals.

5th. Arsenal
As above, with Giroud now out for an extensive period of time, they're going to struggle with goals I think.

6th. Everton
I think Everton will have a solid season as always, losing Barkley for 2 – 3 months isn't great, but I expect Lukaku to do well here.

7th. Spurs
I just don't see where the goals are going to come from for Spurs unless it's from moments of magic. They needed to bring in a striker, really. Ade & Soldado might prove me wrong, I think Soldado is good but just didn't fit well last season.

To go down in any order;

Palace — It's Warnock.
Burnley — They don't have the resources to stay up I don't think.
Leicester — Esteban Cambiasso.

Pretty much my feeling though obviously injuries will be an unknown factor. Arsenal have managed to start the season with Gibbs, Kos, Mert, Debuchy as first team with the massive back up of Monreal, Chambers and............ nope, that really is it.

Chelsea, Remy providing real pace and genuine back up to Costa is troubling for everyone. Costa could have gotten injured(hamstring troubling him or something new) and they'd have an older player who couldn't realistically play every game. With Remy, while not as good as Costa, that pace with Fabregas dropping balls in behind for him... there is loads of goals there :(

City have strong depth for strikers, less so for wingers, have improved in midfield and defence...

Utd could be the real dark horses though but I think Jones/Smalling/Rafael injuries will screw their season up. Potentially RVP/Falcao also. The potential first time they can put out now is awesome and without other competitions to screw them that first team could genuinely compete with the top teams but those mentioned I think picking up injuries throughout the season will stop them getting that close.

Arsenal, one long term defensive injury and we lose the ability to rotate players almost at all, 2 players and we're down to reserves. Joke of a position to be in, buy one CB/RB..... lose one RB, sell two CB, loan other RB out.....

then bought the worst striker at a top 7 club off a rival for silly money as a fix to our complete lack of strikers. Even worse still is Wenger saying he actually wanted him as a replacement for Podolski as a wide attacker... when Podolski is by a huge margin a massively better player who Wenger just doesn't really like.

God knows what his plan is for when Giroud is fit again, Sanchez, Welbeck, Walcott, Podolski and Cazorla or Ozil all for two wide positions....brilliant planning there Wenger, buy another wide player, after spending 30mil on a wide player, when you already had too many wide players, and to cap that off, the latest one is utter pants.
