I heard narrowing your grip makes it better for your upper back development...That's what I got told this morning anyway
I just ummed and arrrred at him.
Ice: I guess it depends how people want to have the tables setup. We could potentially have two tables as you say and have equipped and unequipped, which isn't necessarily a problem, just depends on whether or not the OP wants to do it or not!
It's pretty simple, a narrow grip means that its easier to retract the scapula and keep them down and back. Not only that put it places less stress on the traps and also allows your back angle to increase, meaning you can start with your shoulders & chest higher, reducing load on your back, allowing you to use glutes & hamstrings & hinge more easily, making the lift easier. (iIm fairly certain)
If you want to wide grip deadlift then do a snatch grip deadlift. Not a hybrid
FF, I will do, it seemed pointless to do it originally as there was only a handful of people on the table and to be honest actually doing the Wilks table is a ball ache. So will do it when I get time unless anyone else gets a moment and I'll update it.
