2018 World Darts Championships - PDC + BDO

Good call, worst I've seen MVG play in a long time though.
He played very bad, but there's always that aspect of doubt over whether players like Price can handle the actual reality of being in a position to beat MVG. It sends many of them into panic. The fear factor takes over. I remember a year or so back, Darren Webster went 6-0 up over MVG, but ended up losing 9-7 or something like that. The fear factor grabbed him.

I remember that. Webster was 5-0 up and I believe he lost 10-6.

It's what Phil used to have for all those years the mental hold over players. Gives you that extra 5% even when you're not at your best because the other guy panics when they get near the finish line and puts pressure on themselves on the doubles because they think you'll hit if they miss.

Anderson got through but he looks bang in trouble with his back. Wont even speak to Sky after the match and was missing shed loads of doubles. He's gonna have to get some seriously good physio work done on that overnight.

not when Taylor is basically playing for the lols anyway. Credit to the guy, if he can retire on a high well done. TBH it really is MVGs to lose anyway, though Barnie has always been his Kryptonite.
