2020 Firework Display at home

Please, stop feigning your ignorance you know full well that's not anger when it's laughing at how outrageous your comment is

Outrageous. Yep, you've never seen a petrified dog then. And stop feigning your ignorance you know full well we aren't just talking about a single night. Oh and telling someone to **** off is not really funny.

The firework ******* have started already. To be fair it just seems to be like one or two and that's it, well worth it, they must be pleased. I'm just jealous of course that I cant appreciate them anymore, the novelty wore off in childhood.

I suggest you don't go and research where your dog food comes from if you're concerned for petrified animals

But generally, it's not "letting them off on bonfire night" which is the problem. If it was just one night, it would be expected and easier to mitigate. But as other's have pointed out, there seems to be a trend for people to let off fireworks on random evenings leading up to, and following, bonfire night - that's what's irritating for those with flighty animals, or with young children.

Sounds like there's a few people who are annoyed at another few people who aren't following their standards of when to use fireworks, everybody else who lets off firework on actual bonfire night is okay though. Right ?

Pretty much, yes. If it doesn't bother you at all, then feel free to post your address so we can take it in turns to come and let off random fireworks outside your house at all hours for the next few weeks.

And actually, it's nothing to do with "our" standards, but in fact the law.

Classic diversion there. Not that it is in any way relevant but my dogs eats raw food prepared by me. They probably eat better than you.

Just calling out your ********, you're not concerned for animals at all, you're concerned for YOUR animal

Raw food ? So they're still eating dead animals that must have been petrified before being slaughtered, you're nothing but a hypocrite and you're crying because you're getting called out on it

Once again your argument falls down so you resort to angry swearing. Its making you look both angry and stupid now.

Your argument is that you're concerned for animal safety

Yet you give dead animals to your animals and you probably eat dead animals yourself

You are a hypocrite and your reasons for not liking people using fireworks are entirely selfish instead of altruistic like you try to feign

Eating is a necessity, letting off fireworks is not.

Thought I remembered your name. Aren't you the chap who once said the only good thing about horse manure was that it killed dogs?
Yeah, I don't think anyone needs to listen to a lecture on animal welfare from you.

In an ideal world they'd only be allowed for 1 week a year.

Bigger issue is kids abusing them, letting them off at people.

I'm not bothered if have some kids in thier garden shooting each other. Yeah someone may die. But they knew what they were doing.

If that was directed at me you've got the wrong person.

Round here we only have fireworks on the weekends sandwiching Nov5 and New Years, which I thought was perfectly normal up and down the country.

Didn't realise some of you have a full month of displays :p

So what ? I'm not lecturing on animal welfare I'm highlighting the hypocrisy of "think of the animals at bonfire night" when really it's "think of MY animals at bonfire night"

To be fair, dog owners can be as annoying as parents where they feel everything should revolve around them. My mother is one example, "fireworks should be banned because they scare my dogs"
