Leicester really need at least one central defender after Fofana breaking his fibula in a friendly the other day. Perhaps two - buying one and season long loan. - at a guess.

Fofana didn't so much break his fibula as had it broken for him. Shocking tackle. A proper scissor scythe from a vindictive player.

Probably wages the biggest hurdle. I’d say going forward Leicester are better placed though.

He's filled in back there before IIRC.

Bertrand was a free transfer a week or two ago it seems. When a club let a player run out the clock and go on a free there's a reason why they let it happen. At least we didn't shell out for him I guess. I never rated him at Southampton, but I guess it's better than splashing the cash. So long as we can get another player in with the money saved.

I just don't think he will make that much difference to a City side stacked full of talent in that area of the pitch. Certainly not for £100m. 100m on Kane made more sense from a squad perspective.
