2022 AFCON + Loads of Banter

Mane seemingly got totally knocked out but ended up playing on, scoring and then being taken off minutes later with concussion :/

He should now be out of the tournament and on the first plane back to Liverpool but given the level of organisation and protocols that are in place in this tin pot competition I fully expect Mane to be starting Senegal's next game.

That's terrible :(
yup he was out cold before he even hit the ground. Var even checked the challenge and didn't think hmmm maybe we should get him checked.

There is a reason most people don't give a crap about AFCON. Quality is low, pitches are awful and the crowd noise is horrendous. Do not bring on the vuvuzelas!

Aurier and Pepe, what a combination down that right hand side.

Standard is crap, pitches are crap, refs are crap, crowds are crap. It's just crap.

Is it 60 degrees or something? 55 minutes gone and both sides are leggy.

I mean, its fine that they have the tournament but anyone who says we should "put some respect on the AFCON" is just playing the political race card. Its poor. There is no getting around that. If they held a "South Sea Islands" competition it would be even worse. Its got nowt to do with colour and everything to do with quality.

Have Ivory Coast taken a bribe? Baillys penalty was awful and the keeper is off his line for every penalty so it doesn't matter if they miss.

Every. single. penalty.

Senegal cruising. I wonder if there’s any truth in the story about Liverpool asking Senegal not to play Mane?

If they did, they’ve been ignored.

This pitch is absolutely shocking, cutting up all over the place, players slipping everywhere.

Edit: this standard is so bad
