2023 World Snooker Championship - 3rd April to 1st May

As much as I'm aware Allen has had a good season before this semi, I've no idea how he played, but surely his normal game is more attacking and opening up the reds instead of being drawn into Selby's safety-first tactical "B" game?

Not sure they will start the 8th frame of the session before 1345, in danger of being pulled off early for second session running!

Is it just me, or is Selby swaying his body side to side on some shots?

Both semi's starting to look like they might go the distance, would rather see Allen make it out of this one.
Brecel needs to repeat his form from last night and come out all guns blazing later though

Thank the snooker gods that Allen finally secured that frame after a blue gift to make it 10-9, after so many opportunities!

My god, they’re unlikely to get a full session in here either. Final session tonight could be an absolute marathon. I’ll be making my coco pops as the last frame starts!

I’m not bothering with it. When playing Selby I’m surprised more players don’t go for the aggressive safeties and smash the reds everywhere. Sure, you might lose the odd frame but better than being bored to death.

Edit - we should have a sweepstake for finish time in that semi though. I’ll take 3:11am.

Such a contrast in the two matches.

One, I wouldn't cross the street to watch, the other, shut up and take my money!

Haven’t seen m/any kicks this tournament. They used to be quite often.

Think Si is pushing the boat out too much, he doesn’t seem to want to turn down a pot.
