2024 OLED bonanza take your pick from dozens of new monitors

this one probably won't reach most markets, but shows current 4k QD-OLED can also do 1080p 480Hz
They’ve got the wrong. It’s not a QDOLED panel, it’s the same LG Display WOLED panel as the LG and Asus models. Samsung don’t have a dual mode QDOLED Panel I’m afraid

With only a couple OLED panel manufacturers, you are at their whim as to when you'll get a panel in a size and resolution you desire.

Also because its a growing market, manufacturers focus on the most popular resolutions and sizes first, so if your preferred setup is one which is not common it may still be a couple years away from having an option for you to buy

Thinking of upgrading my 34" Alienware to a 32".... going to need a 4090 or 5000 series to go with it though :D

All these new monitors and no stock anywhere (only the Dell is available) and it's been like that for months now. I'm tired of searching :(

Came here to see current state of OLED's.

...............Turns round and walks quickly in the other direction.............................

That new glossy WOLED from Asus seems like it's could be really good - and the price point seems good too. Showing at 699 on OCUK right now.

If you don't care about 4k or a refresh rate above 240hz then it'll be a really solid pick. It's a shame it's still HDMI 2.0 - but then the AW2725DF is the gimmick HDMI 2.1 (that's actually HDMI 2.0) so I guess it's only LG really that are offering the full 2.1 port on the 1440p panel along with MSI.

Is it the previous WOLED panel gen, or the new one? Does seems like a good deal if it's the new one, and ASUS actually offering burn-in warranty, although they don't exactly have a stellar record when it comes to support.

Yeah, I see Acer have announced their variant (makes it sound like a strain of COVID :o ). What are they like as a monitor manufacturer? Don't think I know anyone who has ever had one.
