not really - I've been running an IPS 27inch 4k 144hz with a 3090. Plently powerful.Thinking of upgrading my 34" Alienware to a 32".... going to need a 4090 or 5000 series to go with it though
Odyssey OLED G8: Official Introduction I Samsung
A next-gen OLED monitor brings vivid 4K visuals and lightning 240Hz speed – it even upscales content with AI in Smart TV Apps and Gaming Hub. Get up to speed...www.youtube.com
Latest 4K 240hz panel from samsung, its a beauty I must say. the anti-glare implementation is make or break for me however as I use my monitors to watch content as well
Can you not dim the lights ?Asus PG32UCDM arriving tomorrow! Very excited, my first OLED monitor!
But also a bit worried about the glossy panel, reflections and raised blacks (my room has lots of light)
Should be a massive upgrade over my 27"IPS.
Sorry, meant natural light. I have 2 massive windows behind me. Very rarely I game during the day though (only on weekends)Can you not dim the lights ?
Ah ok, well they do looks better in the dark so you may need to do something about that.Sorry, meant natural light. I have 2 massive windows behind me. Very rarely I game during the day though (only on weekends)
It looks good but there's no burn in cover from Samsung and the warranty is only 2 years. Samsung are also well known for having bad warranty support. Far better off going Alienware for their unbeatable warranty service.
Really trying to hold off to compare this to the PG32UCDP. I’m very tempted I must say.Had the Asus PG32UCDM for a few days now and it's absolutely amazing, coming from a 27" 1440p 144hz IPS panel the difference is massive!!!!
What's the dead pixel situation with OLEDs, are they.common or as common as IPS monitors?
Finally stopped deliberating and bought an MSI MAG 341CQP, good deal for £650 IMO. Will need a new PC desk to allow me to keep using a dual monitor setup, and the next gen of cards to help drive it!
