2025 F1 car launches

It seems Jos is quite aggrieved about the boo'ing... :o

I'm sure 99% of the boo'ing was British fans not liking RB. But perhaps the RB publicity team should think twice about letting their star talk **** about an event prior to it happening. Whether or not any of us here would have gone, people there paid good money to go to the event and have a fun night out. To have the current "champion" be rude about it, make it clear he doesn't want to be there etc. well it's no surprise that fans there voiced their opinion.
Most of the booing was for Horner as well, Max was definitely booed a little but in comparison to Horner it was pretty gentle!

Meanwhile, in things that matter rather more than hurty feelings at Red Bull - George Russell talking up the new Merc challenger.

Hopefully they've finally got a handle on it all.
Fully expecting Merc to once again be the quickest car at 4 or 5 races and then the 4th quickest car for the rest of the season.

Although I'm really interested to see how Antonelli gets on.

Lewis and Charles were playing chess - absolute disgrace that the 7 time "having the fastest car" champion couldn't be present during the event.

Doubt anyone actually cared about comments made; it's just your typical British "fan". None of them wanted to be there, and several were vocal about it or looked physically annoyed about being there.

Say what?

God, I'm bored with you lot already and the season hasn't even started :p
Can you translate what they're even on about please? So far I've gotten that apparently Lewis Hamilton wasn't there, now since I've posted the picture of him on stage, ya know, there... apparently I didn't watch it. Hopefuly someone can interpret for the group :p

He should listen to his own son

"I look at it like this, when you go to a football match, you come into the home ground, the opposition will be booed at some point and it's not up to the local club to go on to the speakers and say 'guys, you cannot boo,' as it will naturally happen," Max Verstappen said.

This quote was in reference to Dutch fans booing Hamilton at Zandvoort.

Has he forgotten the times that 100,000 cloggies booed Lewis at the dutch Grand Prix?

Convenient to ignore that and pretend it didn't happen.

Though he does need to take some responsibility the bloke is a bit of a sausage, I wouldn't say he a nice guy, he's fast and a great driver but he's a spoilt child and he is a terrible sportsman.

At least that's how it's portrayed.

Jos is just permanently angry and over opinionated, thinks he was a much better driver than he was, he had a largely unsuccessful professional career.

I like lando and piastri, come across as humble and down to earth ISH.

Hamilton I used to love, then went off him when he started whining all the time, and now I'm a fan again as he's whining a lot less.

Sainz is up there for me aswell quite possibly the most humble and nicest guy on the grid.

Tsunoda is funny as, but I think this is unintentional and mostly lost in translation

You’re likely the only person in this thread that didn’t understand, but that’s not surprising :p your passion for RB means that you don’t have time to follow other teams - understandable.

The start of the season can't come soon enough...
It'll only get worse once the racing starts.

It'd be easier if the mods could force certain accounts to ignore other accounts, make all the usual suspects ignore each other and then the rest of us wouldn't need to see the bickering and petty point scoring.

That's a new level of annoying condescension, even for you
He literally contributes nothing to these threads.

Everyone else, whether they're bias towards 1 particular driver/team or not, can be objective, or at the very least, can have a conversation without being toxic.
