206 is going!

Dunno you can get a Mk3 2.5 Zetec S with nav if you look really hard for that sort of cash, think i'd prefer the newer car.

Edit: Tax issue clearly but its not much money imho.

Thats what i originally thought, 2.5 mk3 mondeo fits the bill at the original budget.

You've bought a house with girl you've known a year

Brave man :D

My wife and I were in our house and had our daughter within 12 months.

8 years later all is well. I've managed to cut down the beatings to one a week. :D

Back to the ranch.

You could always get some cheap 4x4 for a bit of fun (I know one for sale much cheapness ;) ) We have to trek up to yorkshire to see the inlaws and for that reason we really had to get diesel. My wifes Leon TDI gets us there and back and shuttles around on the weekend in one tank.

Its big enough for us and all our daughters gear. Although bikes etc we use the Jeep.

I hope you hasty female choices are better than your hasty car choices :p

Seems that way :)

I've always looked for someone long-term to settle down with, every single one of my choices had been the "wrong" one for me in some way or another, but we're both (not forgetting the little one!) very, very happy :)

Oh I dunno, if I had 1500-2000 quid or so I'd rather a nice ST24 or perhaps an ST200 than a Mk3 LX.

I'm budgeting for around the £1500 mark, but for that i'll expect a very tidy example of an ST24.

New owner of the 206 picks it up tomorrow, gave it a clean up today and it looks immaculate :) As soon as its gone i'm off to view an ST24.
