2080 vs 1080Ti ~ 1080Ti a better card?

Pretty much every leak is showing the 2080 will have 8gb and I think it will to to be honest. The ram itself will be faster gddr 6 but due to a smaller bus it maybe less than 1080Ti’s bandwidth.
 
Its probably going to be the replacement for the 1080 so it will be like moving from gtx970 to gtx1070 or gtx980 to gtx1080. Should be enough to put it comfortably above the 1080ti.

I hope so, I sold my 1080ti a few days ago thinking I’d be able to afford the 2080ti...I had £850 ready to go but obviously that didn’t work out!

Ive ordered a 2080 but I have a feeling I’ve gone backwards in performance but life’s to short to worry about things like that!

If I was in your shoes and the 2080 turns out not as fast as the 1080ti, I may actually just put the money aside until there is a price drop and get a 1070 or something for now.

Well I’m a gamer (rather than a Bencher) so I don’t want to fanny around really (lol), I’m just going to have to suck this one up and move on:)
