2080ti dead within 2 hours ?

hi guys, so i got my 2080ti today installed it running fine around 7 pm got into tomb raider got met with a dxgi error device hung and said problem with device driver and may not have enough memory. so had a fiddle rebooted uninstalled drivers with ddu reinstalled 4 different versions , and every time my pc goes into some black screen boot loop .

windows 10 is on version 1803 so i dont think it is the latest update being the issue

am i sending this back already ?
 
Which Tomb Raider is it? I had a similar problem with rise of the tomb raider and I think I had trouble with the first one. Try some other games or a benchmark in case it's just the game.

Reinstalled all the drivers actually got it to boot Windows now and just met with artifacting
 
If they're struggling to get back into Windows(black screen boot loop) it seems like a duffer to me. Once restarted any driver crash would be resolved.
If it's an FE maybe ask NV for a free upgrade to a Titan to make up for the hassle :). No harm in asking :P
