Surely with an over 60% failure rate, they've got to do a recall ?
The failure rate of these cards makes me seriously question how long they'll last when the warranty period ceases..

Ah, it's not 60%. But I would say it's over 10% based on the small sample size of this and a couple of other forums.
You mean that the Pascal 1080ti is the better choice? Shock horror!!! OCUK will see you right though buddy.I was having a joke about the artifacting etc with the amd card i have my old 1080ti back in for now , ocuk arranged collection of my zotac amp 2080Ti hopefully get a replacement asap
It's likely to be a lot more than 10%. A number of people have had multiple cards fail.

I think that people are vastly underestimating the number of cards sold.
It won't be a huge amount at these prices. Even the 1080/1080ti didn't sell that well, there was a huge stockpile left. People are only buying them now due to the fail of the 20 series.

1080 Ti sold very well, NVidia were always running out of stock on their site.
But running out of stock don't mean something sold well as we don't know if they only had 5 cards or 5 million cards to sell ..1080 Ti sold very well, NVidia were always running out of stock on their site.
The same could be said about the assumption that they didn't sell well. We should all just say it we have no clue. But running out of stock don't mean something sold well as we don't know if they only had 5 cards or 5 million cards to sell ..
