21 games to launch on 360 on demand.

You could go pick up any of those games second hand for probably 1/4 the price microsoft charges this is why this service will never ever interest me.

I think I will use it. I have a terrible tendency to buy a game, sell it at a loss and then buy it again. Repeat in some situations. By splashing out on the digital version, even if it is more expensive, means I can't sell it so it will always be there and I will probably save a few quid in the long term.

Reason its so high is mainly because of the interface & casing.

There is no 'interface', it's just standard SATA internally with a proprietary connector on the outside. And the casing probably costs pennies to produce.

MS probably could not do it much cheaper without losing money as the actual HD is probably cheap to source but the rest of it bumps the price up apparently. People moan about the cost but MS obviously have to pay someone to assemble the thing as well!

Missed this previously. You're wrong i'm afraid, the hard drive has a massive markup on it. The drive inside is actually just a standard laptop sata harddrive and the case is simply an adaptor for the sata socket. People have been able to 'hack' the cases so they could put in their own drives.

Only if you play them on a different console from the one they were purchased on. (Then you could always use the licence transfer tool if you haven't previously done so in the last 12 months.)

id much rather pay less than a tenner and have a disk my kids can use on there on own consoles that £20 to have it tied to one machine plus a live account
way overpriced :(
