Does this affect the cost to tax my 1.6?

I found out the other day that it's £93.50 for just 6 months! ******* rip-off *****!!!! :mad:

My 205 1.4 was £62.50 for 6 months, ******* silly!

This looks like its ONLY (at the moment) on NEW cars, existing cars will not be affected at present.
and the new limit is 225gm/km (I think!), which covers MANY 'normal cars', even down to one of the Mondeo range!

I think people will have to wake up a bit and smell the coffee

If you want to run a 4*4/high performance/innefficient car, you are ging to have to pay for it. NO amount of moaning is now going to change that. I suspect ANY of the political parties will head down that route whoever is in Govt.

Because mine is an 02 and so is under the C02 tax rules.

I guess Ill be a £210 band as currently its about £180
