People skydive everyday, he just did it from higher up ..... Even I could do that so fail to see why this is even news worthy.
He pulled himself out of an upside down flat spin. Maverick couldn't even get out of a normal flat spin and Goose paid the price for that.

So, although Baumgartner hit 833mph during his descent, he didn't really break the sound barrier did he? I mean he would have going that speed at lower altitudes, but because of lower air density at altitude, he never truly went supersonic. Am I right?
Either way, it's still a massive achievement and the way he just snaps out of the spin almost instantaneously was impressive.

It's weird to think that the slightest gust of wind at that height could have knocked him continents off course!
