Although recently, he was witnessed as saying that there would be major character reshuffles (including him).

Gonna be interesting to see what happens when they finally bump off Jack Bauer (for real). If they can keep the story quiet it will be a great shock, really good television like some of the major characters who get knocked off in S5.

The great thing about 24 is that just when you think it is trailing off to just being a "very good" show, they pull another fantastic episode out of the bag which makes you wonder how you could ever doubt it.

Personally if I was part of CTU, I'd go into hiding at 59 minutes past every hour :)

The good thing is they still have some very dramatic events thrown in at other random times, say 25mins to keep you on your toes. In the back of your mind, you are always expecting a cliffhanger, a twist in the plot or someone getting killed at the end of the episode, which makes it all the more shocking when it happens in the middle.

seasons 1-3 dragged for me, too repetitive. but 4 and 5 are awsome maybe it can only get better.

PS theres some show on SKy soon with Keifer Sutherland managing a band on some Eurupean Tour, and he jumps into a Christmas tree

Yep it destroys all other programs out there. I loved lost but all that happens now is they talk about a someones part for a few episodes, do a bit of lovey duvy then put a small freaky twist in then start all over again :(

But 24season 5 is amazing. The best yet, and only 4 more episodes until it finishes. OMG OMG OMG (I know they haven't aired yet so il keep shtum).

But...

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

When jack came on the screen at the start of the jonathan ross show, i felt all weird inside. I love him as much as my female housemates :D

Just coming on here to give a heads up that Kiefer Sutherland (aka Jack Bauer) is on Jonathon Ross shortly.
I'm guessing he's promoting the Band's tour more than the show.

I never got into 24, but now I work night shifts we decided to get hold of the first 3 series and start watching them (night shifts draaaaaaaaaaag on), its the perfect way to waste some time, and you get to see them back to back.

1st series was good, although a bit slow I thought, and the whiney dumbass women (aka his wife/daughter) get on my nerves at times. But it was a great series and kept us entertained for a while.

We are currently on S2 now, Mason has just flown the nuke into the desert , left me quite eager for more, shame my mates got the discs and we wont watch them til next Thursday :(

IMO S2 appears better, but does anyone else get sick of Palmers wife???! He should just shoot her...

Anyway, if the next 3 series are as good or better than this one then I will be happy.

BTW his daughter is a walking jinx, everywhere she goes she causes problems.

Yeah if I was her Dad, I'd get her deported somewhere. We've also worked out, if shes in trouble (in fact anyone really) then just hide behind a dumpster, works every time :D
