More or less, yes. The 920 doesn't have an unlocked multiplier though, so you couldn't have it exactly the same. It'd actually perform a touch better. Of course the 965 could drop the multiplier and up the bus speed and be an exact match.

Probably I'd get the 920 or the 965.
The 920s shouldn't clock as high as the 940s, but I don't expect there would be much in it.
I'm getting a 940 though, but it's a Phenom II.

I'm in pretty much exactly your situation - I remember earlier this year we shared a thread on what specs to get and we've both ended up dragging it out till i7 came out.
I'm going for an i7 920, a GTX285 (I want the fastest possible single card as I'm using 3 screens and SoftTH), 6GB 1600MHz DDR3 and probably a Gigabyte EX58 UD5 mobo. CPU and card will be watercooled and it's all going in a Tj07, same as you. My budget's slightly less at £2000.
I'll be able to get the whole thing at the end of January, but I'm getting the case first and having it powdercoated after Xmas.

Yeah I remember our convo mate. Keep me dated with your project and I will you. Good choice of case. I'm getting mine powdercoated a Matt Black inside but got some drilling to do first before I get it done. Seem's like we'll have more or less same setup. Can't wait!

What colours were you intending to do your case? Just the black interior?
Yes mate. I like the external as it is. So I'll just get the internals done a matt black, which won't show up finger prints nowhere near as much also. I was then going for white tubing but not sure now. I really like blue too. What you getting done?

Like you, keeping the exterior the factory black, with a black powdercoated interior, but the details like the drive bays, the divider between the bottom and top levels, the back, the motherboard tray and the grille in the bottom done a deep red.
I want red tubes but it seems hard to get ones that glow UV red. The new red Feser seems promising, as does the PrimoChill Ice Blood Red fluid.
