He might have been sold the Online 500 18 month contract, which is either 1000 mins + 150 texts / 750 mins + 750 texts, for £35pm. (No reduction in allowance over the 18 months)

Don't think it's on the D800 either.

So by all accounts, the only things he actually said are:
1. It's an 18 month contract
2. It's 1000 minutes per month
3. He phoned up O2 to buy the phone, which in all probably was O2 Online
4. He didn't say it was the D800 either. In fact, I don't know where the mention of D800 came from

Unless the O2 Online 500 is only available from the website, I'd say he's on the Online 500 having purchased the phone from O2 Online CS Phoneline.

just spoke to T mobile direct, ive been accepted on credit rating but they are waiting till the end of this week to get any of the MDA pros in as there out of stock.

Correct! It is the o2 online 500 package but I called them up to ask some questions and offered me 1000 minutes +150 texts if I went for the Samsung s400i phone. I actually didn't care which phone they gave me since I always keep my 8210 when I sign a new contract :)
