£2500 budget

The Antec P280 is great, that Lian-Li looks amazing (not seen any reviews) but its also in a different price category.

Edit..the Coolermaster Cosmos II is in the same price range as that Lian-Li

Can't you assemble the parts you want for your PC and get Overclockers to build it if you order from them? If not it seems like an appropriate service, maybe it should be added. :p

They're all different price range, and all good. It's really up to you at this point.

Dunno about the Lian Li in particular. Bit too excentric for my taste, and far too expensive. Remember you can add side window panels on other Lian Li's.

£2500 and not full tower. I'm not so sure.....

Personally, I would get one of the Lian Li towers. Expensive yes, but we're talking a £2.5k budget here not £1000.

These are what I would be looking at personally:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Lian Li PC-A77FB Aluminium Full Tower Case - Black £249.98
1 x Lian Li PC-Z70 Diamond Series Full Tower Case - Black £249.98
1 x Corsair Obsidian 800D (6GB/s) Full Tower Case - Black £239.99
1 x Lian Li PC-A70FB Aluminium Full Tower Case - Black £169.99
1 x Cooler Master HAF X Gaming Tower Case - Black (RC-942) £130.00
1 x Antec 1200 Twelve Hundred (V3 with USB3.0) Ultimate Gaming Case - Black £104.99
Total : £1,190.83 (includes shipping : £38.25).

The 800D is not brilliant for air-cooling but great for WC

The HAF X is a great air case

The Antec 1200 is old design and not many would spec it but it can still do a good job on air and looks better than the HAF (imo)

the Lian Lis just offer quality try and get a PC-80 Lian Li if possible.

I just couldn't go £2.5k mid tower...

It's not a 'need' to go full tower but for me, if I had that budget for a build, I would 100% get a full tower. If anything just for more room for building!

RE: the 1200 like I said, not many would spec it but I would. It lacks cable management? :O

Why would he need to go full tower? Besides, the 650D is a BIG mid-tower.

I do agree in some way though, I would whip up a build that will do the job for almost £1000 less.

The main reason for spending so much is because i want a system that will last me a long time before i have to start upgrading, I just dont want to buy something that is going to stuggling with any new games in the near future ;)

If you can really recommend something that does all that and saves me a lot of money then i am all ears :)

You guys are making my decision even harder now with a lot of people now suggesting full towers! why cant building a PC be nice and simple! lol

In my opinion I would forget Full Towers. Just choose a case that is functional and you like the look of. Once you have decided on the case we can then tell you what will fit in it.

Either that or just choose a prebuilt option and we can 'advise' on any changes. It has to be your choice and no one elses :)

Edit: Stulid already did the second option for you :D

You can select this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-249-OE&groupid=43&catid=2040&subcat=1270

Add the optional 120GB SSD+GTX670, that comes to £1.5K.

Add the screen you want and you are at 1.8K or less.

this.
