£2500 for a GPU?

Isn't that one of their cheaper end cards?

Board Size 292 x 130 x 59.6 mm - that was the board size

Look at the pictures it's triple slot cooler. It was absolutely huge in length and width and it used much bigger fans than the triple fan designs meaning it pushed more air at lower RPM meaning it ran cool and quiet. It had dual BIOS.

That would be like comparing a STRIX card to inno3D. The Jet Stream is a top end model from Palit's range
Ah no sorry i was referring to the Palit Gamingpro 3090, 2.5 slot cooler, triple fan setup but the fans are smaller and much noisier even though they advertise it as being quiet. No Dual bios either... defo one of the cheaper cards in the lineup for the 3000 series. The card itself is a solid performer though, i've had some good overclocks for benchmarking and scored pretty decent on 3Dmark, just a shame about the stock cooler.

I had the 2070 super and it was the coolest running card I have ever owned. Gutted I sold it tbh. It was a fantastic card. Even under full load overclocked to the tilt I never seen it above 70 degrees. This was in a crappy airflow NZXT case as well.

The 70's are **** easy to cool though tbh, in comparison to the fire-breathing **80Ti's at least.

Depends how you play it I could take my 3090FE that I bought six months ago to a CEX store now and sell it for a profit. Now that is crazy.
True, and I’m sure my mate would make a few hundred profit were he to sell his 3080’s today (although privately, not to CEX) but he’d then need new GPU (s) but the EVGA cards he has are currently around £1400 each at O.C./U.K. so that’s his “profit” gone.

Same situation with cars, you can sell used for new prices currently but your still left with paying through the nose for a replacement assuming you can find one..

The only winners are those who sell with no interest in replacing, which I doubt many 30xx owners are…
