I had the Extreme 4 Gen 3 and it was such a pig for overclocking that I bought a new motherboard (P8Z68-V Pro)
I did eventually get a stable 4.7GHz overclock on my ASRock, it needed 1.377v, which is still below the Intel maximum recommendation of around 1.4v, so give it some more power and see how she goes.
But if you are priming stable at 4.5 with under 1.3v I want your chip!
Mine will run fine and game at 5ghz with 1.4v
Didn't run any stress tests though as I hadn't sorted the water loop out an didn't want to do any damage.
