2600k owner's club

Same story here, 2600 OCed to 4.8 (can do 5Ghz, but I tought I'd be 'nice' long term).

In fact I'm looking to build another system alongside this one, and I'm struggling to find anything as good, or that even come close!

great chip bought second hand 2 years ago for 160£, doing 4.6 @ 1.34v see if i can get 4.7 at same volts if not i will just stick with it .

Yep i see lots of very happy owners of this beauty and right now i wanna build cheap decent computer and if possible with 2600 or 2600k cause i`m not so much in to overclocking and coming from q6600 this is gonna be really nice update

2700k @ 4.5 GHz on 1.28v. I've not seen anything that feels like a worthwhile upgrade. 4790K is only slightly faster and much hotter, 5820K is tempting but probably not worth the platform cost for me.

yep rocking mine still 2600k at 4.6

Have got a bit of an itch to upgrade though thinking of going x99 keep having to talk myself out of it lol.

how you keep idle @ 0.97 and load so low im trying to lower ofset now at -30 and idle is already at 0.968 load is like 1.33?

strange something just happened tried to lower volts crashed on lower volts could not get in to windows bluescreening had to to repair system restore but now can't increase vccio voltage more then 1.4v

try clearing cmos/load optimised defaults then re enter your oc settings

1.4v for vccio? max safe is 1.2v and you shouldn't need that much, maybe 1.16v to 1.18v with that ram speed/timings

I'm using offset of -0.035 with LLC at medium.

CPU PLL voltage is down to 1.5v which helps it run a little cooler as a bonus.
