I have this monitor and it's great. Playing Forza , Destiny 2 and BF1 with Freesync and HDR is very nice. Even without HDR the colours are very rich with deep blacks and high contrast.Well i seem to think that this monitor is better than the asus monitor because it has quantum dot and hdr built in and is a va panel.

The Asus ROG Swift 278QR that I had that was a TN and was good but the Samsung is better.

not to hijack the thread but im after a similar screen, currently running a budget 1080p monitor.
wanting high hz and gsync, but is 1440p worth it over 1080p?
its only used for gaming. OW/ destiny/ pubg / battlefield
It is, 1440p @ 144hz is a great spot, especially with freesync/gsync.
deffo worth jumping from 1080p to 2k, 144hz in FPS will also make it so much smoother
have a look on .....
