27" monitor recommendation to pair with 5090

So, it just came up again. Turns out I was wrong... the light flashes the whole time, I just tuned it out after about 10 seconds every time. Hope your screen is OK.

On a separate note, I have annoying little marks on my screen where something has clearly touched it at some point. Any tips on getting rid of them?

You need to buy a non-bobbly microfibre clothes (the sort that comes with glasses) and some distilled water - you can then gently get rid of grease marks :)

I’ve cleaned a few smudges and marks away carefully with no problem.

So - I did leave it for some time and it worked fine. Which is really annoying because the monitor still counts the ‘interrupted cycles’ as completed on its counter.

So I have done it dozens of times…. But in reality, none. Silly. Oh well, not many hours of use yet, I’m sure it’s fine.

Edit: to clarify, I meant the screen went ‘black’, no flashing light, but it turned back on after maybe 3-5 minutes.

Sounds like your screen is fine then :)

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow.

I sometimes (rare) get black screen issues with my 4K monitor connected via DP (the one I'll be switching out for the ASUS one). I

How long are your cables? DP really benefits from good cables and for long cables you should really go fibre-optic. I don't believe there are any UHBR20 / 80 Gbps fibre-optic cables yet BICBW.

Not long, maybe 1m.
Switched to the DP and HDMI cables that came with the ASUS when it arrived, not had any issues since.

@Nitefly Marks are gone from my screen now, thanks :)
