Just noticed the specs indicate it requires a 750W psu...really?

I am running my 290X & i7 4770K with a 600W power supply without issue.

Power under load used is about 400W and the includes my monitor and speakers.

As always make sure you have a high quality power supply regardless of wattage spec.

To anyone worried about noise from the stock cooler, remember you can limit the fan speed to whatever you're comfortable with (and the core will throttle to meet this speed), or the better option is to buy the card and an aftermarker cooler such as an Accelero and it'll still be a really good deal.

Edit: just realised that this is a reference cooler and pretty much every forums I have read advised 290x buyer to always get an aftermarket cooler. Bugger.
