** 2GB GFX RAM VS 1GB GFX RAM IN BF3 (560Ti 1GB VS 560Ti 2GB) TESTING RESULTS!

Got two GTX480s clocked at 820core 1640 shader and 1900 on the ram sli/d up and play BF3 on max settings and have played some big maps and small quick maps and NEVER have experianced slow down / lag etc it is fine . Crashes a lot and glitches man the glitches but thats the GAME not MY pc ..... the 3rd person outer body experiance when you are about to shoot someone is great !!! NOT!!! ...

i will however play the game hard today and measure the amount of ram it uses

Also why have the 480s dissapeared they are still very good cards ....


EDIT:::: hehe just played BF3 and used all the ram on both cards hehe and was getting min Fram 80 max frame 120 as had v synce on so is lock to my Benq 120hz monitor so yes i would say it is very memory hungry
Also playing at 1920x1080 so on this basis would suggest Getiing a 2gb card or even better the 3gb 580 would be a good bet...

Hey guys,

When will you be stocking the 448 core version of these cards? They from reviews with 1.25gb of ram are beating the 2gb cards. I wanted two for sli instead of my 5850's but they are looking pricey at the other places that have them.
