2nd HDD

Afternoon all are you ready Noob Alert!!!!!!
Looking to get a 2nd hdd currently have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 2mb Cache. ST3802110AS.
Was looking at getting one of these.....

Would it be ok with the different speeds?

Perfectly fine. The drives will operate independently.

It doesn’t make any different what make / speed / interface / capacity the two drives are. They will work together fine.

Unless you are using Raid of course, then they drives should be as similar as possible. (if you don’t know what it is then you’re not using it)

Thanks for the replys chaps not using Raid heard of it so not a complete Noob
OK i am really but thats why i rely on you clever chaps. Great input as per usual SOOOOOOO glad i found this site and sorry if that sounds a bit girly.
