2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-II HARD DRIVE - JUST £79 inc VAT

Draw in new forum members, and shop users. With the chance that they will buy more stuff. 50 drives isnt a great loss (or not great profit) to ocuk if they get a few new customers

Interesting to know how many people signed up to the forums today and yesterday compaired to 1 month ago... I'll take a guess at 500 today

amazing price indeed. can't see me getting one but if that's the case the Hitachi Deskstar 7K2000 would do me fine at £123. Still expect those to fall in price over the next few months.

I would really, reallly like one, but don't *need* one at the moment. So I'm waiting, going to pick up a higher RPM 2tb drive in a few months, I'll have the last laugh, mu-haha! Pointless post but I'm just trying to make myself feel better :( It's quite fun trying to get in there with the F5 and order quickly :p I shall be observing with glee.

Don't forget ! - There is that TV programme on today at 13:25 about bikini modelling. I saw the trailer the other night, I have never seen so many scantily clad ladies
I think it's on channel 4, but I may be wrong, it is definitely on one of the channels though. I'm sure you will find it if you keep looking.

Why is there a nice offer like this when i need to think about other things and a extra 2TB is not needed right now ....

This is what credit cards are all about :-D

I know I'm a down right dirty bargain hunting student.... but hey this is too good to miss.

I've read throughout this thread people referring to their extra level of security on their cards having an effect on their purchase time...

I too have this extra level however I've been thinking, this shouldnt mean that we have less of a chance. Is it not a case that the first 50 people who PROCEED to their checkout will have a drive reserved for their purchase for say 10 minutes whilst they make payment???

I'm sure this is the way it works with most online purchases.

Therefore the first 50 people who click buy and go to CHECKOUT should have the drive regardless of how long they take to fill in forms etc, right?

If this is the cae I guess I could have kept it to myself but even though I have only joined a couple a days ago for this offer... I think its unfair to regular users and wouldnt want any regular user to miss out just because they think this extra step of security will dissadvantage them.

Goodluck Everyone :D

P.S I prob wont get a reply to this before 1:30pm but oh well.
