Ah! Saw 2TB and £79 and thought where is the damn add to cart button!
If i order when they go on sale will i be able to email ocuk to see if i am 1 of the first 50 ppl as i'd want to cancel my order if i'm not.
Would replace my 1.5TB with this as its full
p.s any info on samsung releasing a 2tb drive yet? 2tb drives have been out for ages and samsung's 1.5tb drives are so cheap, they'd sell like hotcakes if samsung sold 2tb drives for £100.

Seagate are a premium brand and their drives are very reliable.

have all 50 been preordered?
They cannot be pre-ordered. They will be put on sale at 1.30pm on Thursday
its so that people join their forums and link their accounts, it helps them by giving them data about how many people on the forums order from ocuk, how regular etc. Its good work from ocuk, helps them improve their business and we get a nice cheap harddrive, win win.
Wish they did go on sale now as there will be loads of ppl on the site when they get on sale, most likely new users rather than regular forum users like us who will get them
Would be better if they had a 200+ posts minimum to qualify
scratch that, 1200+ posts to qualify

Well, I was in the market for a 1.5tb drive, but I suppose a 2tb will have to do!

not sure there would be enough time to choose collect at the checkout would they, i've not done it before, wouldn't want to have to type in any other details to choose collect.
