I already have 3tb of storage on my system and 1.5tb free. I don't really need the extra storage but would probably use this 2tb drive to back up everything I have.

Think this is what I will use it for too.
Have been meaning to double up my storage for backup. I was aiming to build a RAID5 array but have since lost faith in it for home usage with regular restarts.
the only people that will be able to buy at 1.30pm on a thursday are, people with lunch at that unsusally late time, people with nice office jobs that sit infront of a computer all day, dole bums cashing in their giro's and students.
